Parks and Recreation
Lying between downtown and the Hudson River is Fort Hardy Park. The park includes athletic fields, a Village beach and the Community Youth Center. Across the street is the Schuyler Yacht Basin, which hosts visitors from all over the world. Using the connections the Champlain Canal makes available, tourists are able to travel from New York City to Montreal.
Just north of the Village are Hudson’s Crossing Bi-County Park and the Lock 5 Champlain Canal Park. A few miles south of Schuylerville lies the Saratoga Battlefield National Park.
It is a short commute from Schuylerville to Saratoga Springs or the Luther Forest Technology Campus.
